WINTER INSPIRATION: Saint Ignatius Art Show – A SALA Event 11-13th August 2017

With winter well and truly upon us, the lights of the festive season have long since faded and we take time to embrace the inner warmers to our soul – art being one of the most enjoyable and rewarding of those in my books. Yes, wine and too many serves of hot chips are high on the list also, but perhaps with a shorter lived effect of euphoric inspiration.

Take time out this winter to dig deep into what Adelaide has to offer on the arts scene. The much loved Cabaret Festival is just kicking off, and there is much to see in the city and surrounding galleries. Art Shows are frequent and are excellent way to both discover new artists as well as aquire stunning work at often ridiculously fair investment prices.

The Saint Ignatius Art Show is a favourite among many and will be held on the weekend of 11th-13th August.Tim is pleased to be involved again this year, both exhibiting works for sale as well as participating in the Artists Talks on Saturday 12th August. Join us for opening night on the Friday for a sneak peek, get an insight into the world of some of the Artists on Saturday, and revisit us again on Sunday to digest it all!

The show will feature work across all mediums including painting, sculpture and glass. Tim has created a number of pieces for the show including Slash and Cut vases, table lamps and a large Tulip arrangement table vase lamp. For those of you who haven’t yet met Tim, please come for a chat on Saturday. He’s a rather affable fellow with a wicked sense of humour. Always passionate to share his delight in glass-blowing, and he will do his best to answer any curly questions about his work or processes.

So go on, plan a weekend (or two) around the arts this winter. get inspired, reinvigorate your artistic senses and above all, enjoy this age old thing as natuaral to humans as breathing – Art.
